Amos is an ordinary man with an ordinary life. Every day he fishes in an ordinary pond, then goes home to his ordinary house. But one extraordinary day, an amazing fish catches Amos and takes him home! What should the fish family do with Amos? Fry him in butter with salt and pepper? Hang him on the wall as a trophy? Little Fish wants to keep Amos as a pet... will Amos's life ever be ordinary again?...

So goes the story. As a kid, I absolutely loved this one to the core. This story by Eugenie and Henry Fernandes talks about a very ordinary guy who gets caught up in the adventure of his life. My little sister loved it too. I left her no choice, that is. Later, 'Amos' became a secret code between me and my sister!
We used Amos as a noun, sometimes an adjective and sometimes even a bad word!

I feel our life is much like that of Amos'. All of us lie in wait for that extraordinary day when everything will change dramatically. We wait for the day when there is so much spice in life. Life is no more boring. Each passing day brings surprises and excitement along with it. But is also depends on opportunity.

Its all about getting an opportunity to change things. Its all about going for fishing.

Do you happen to have an electronic copy of the story? I'm looking for it for a really long time!
